At Ida & Christine’s, I believe peace can be created in the smallest moments—a candle glowing at the end of a long day, a familiar fragrance filling the room, or a body-care ritual that reminds you to slow down and care for yourself.

I created Ida and Christine’s from a love of home, family, fragrance, and the feeling of comfort that thoughtful details can bring. Every product is designed to transform an ordinary moment into something softer, warmer, and more intentional.

Rooted in love

Life has taught me that peace should never be taken for granted.

My journey through breast cancer changed the way I looked at time, wellness, and the everyday moments we sometimes overlook. Losing my mother deepened that understanding. Through healing, grief, family, and rebuilding, I came to appreciate the things that make a space feel safe: a beautiful scent, a quiet room, a comforting routine, and the people whose love remains with us.

That spirit lives at the heart of Ida & Christine’s.

“Rooted in Love, Made for Peace” is more than our tagline. It is the intention behind everything I create. Our roots represent family, resilience, memory, and the love that continues to shape us. The peace is what we hope each product brings into your home and your life.

Made with intention

My candles, wax melts, room sprays, and body-care products are thoughtfully handcrafted in small batches. From selecting a fragrance to designing the final presentation, every detail is considered with care.

Some fragrances feel like fresh linen moving through an open window. Others carry you to the shoreline, a tropical escape, a quiet Sunday morning, or a memory you never want to lose. Each one is created to offer more than a beautiful aroma—it is meant to create a feeling.

I believe fragrance can change the atmosphere of a room, soften the mood of a day, and become part of the moments people remember.

The women behind the name

Ida and Christine were my grandmothers—the two women whose names and legacies live at the heart of this brand.

They taught me what unconditional love looked like. Through them, I learned that family means showing up, standing together, and being there for the people you love—no matter what. They gave me wonderful parents, strong family roots, and an example of love that continues to shape the woman I am today.

Both women came from the South and worked incredibly hard to care for their families. I carry a deep respect for their strength, sacrifice, resilience, and devotion. Their homes were more than places to live. They were places where family gathered, community was welcomed, respect was expected, and love was freely given. Their houses always felt like home.

I lost Ida when I was only ten and Christine when I was twenty-two. Although I wish I had been given more time with them, what they gave me has lasted a lifetime.

I named Ida & Christine’s in their honor because I wanted everything I created to carry a piece of what their homes gave me: warmth, comfort, belonging, and peace. Their love is the root of this brand, and their legacy is present in every product I make.

Ida & Christine’s is for those who believe home should feel like a refuge. It is for the woman learning to make time for herself, the family creating new traditions, and anyone who needs a gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and appreciate the moment they are in.
